University of Pennsylvania Law School Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic (ELC)

The University of Pennsylvania Law School Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic (ELC) provides free transactional legal services to entrepreneurs. The ELC gives preference to ventures that impact society and communities in positive ways. The organization typically handels the following types of matters:
Pre-Venture Counseling to Co-founders; Entity Selection Counseling; Assistance Strategizing, Negotiating, Drafting and Reviewing Agreements;
Employee Management Advice; Commercial Real Estate Development Advice;
Intellectual Property Counseling; and Non-Profit Advice.

The UPenn ELC is continuing its support towards Envolve Award U.S.A. (former AEA) by providing training for aspiring Bronx-based entrepreneurs around legal matters pertaining to startups and new ventures.
