Sharing Economies
/shairing ih-kon–uh-mee/n.
Also known as access economy, peer-to-peer (P2P) economy, or collaborative economy, the sharing economy is an economic model in which goods and services are not owned by a single user, but rather only temporarily accessed by members of a network for free or for a fee. It is based on the idea that having access to a good or a service can be preferable to having ownership over it.
