James Banks is a Program Manager at Envolve Entrepreneurship. He recently graduated from the University of Virginia’s Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy and Leadership. His experience lies at the intersection of racial justice and community economic development with policy advising experience in Virginia’s local and state governments. His work under government officials spans affordable housing, small business equity, race relations, and sustainability.

He has a passion for uplifting under-resourced communities and his favorite part about his job is connecting with, and learning from Envolve’s network of entrepreneurs.
