Tameka Montgomery is an expert in creating and running entrepreneurship programs. She has spent 20 years developing and delivering entrepreneurship programs across the nation.
Tameka is the President and CEO of Core Strategy Partners Inc., a consultancy that helps corporations, governments, and nonprofits develop and implement effective strategies to strengthen and advance entrepreneurial development for women, youth, and underrepresented entrepreneurs.
In 2013, Tameka was appointed by President Obama to lead the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Office of Entrepreneurial Development. In this capacity, she was responsible for a budget of more than $160 million to drive entrepreneurship training programs and policies that supported the nation’s 28 million small businesses.
Tameka is a graduate of Spelman College and Columbia University and holds an honorary doctorate in entrepreneurship from Johnson and Wales University.
